Abstract: In task oriented training, patients are taught to use optimal motor control strategies during skills related to daily activities. However, implementing these complex skills into rehabilitation technology is challenging. Task segmentation, a method that is advocated in rehabilitation of low back pain has been used for the implementation of task-oriented exercises in rehabilitation technologies and is a suitable manner to give objective feedback on the quality of exercise performance.
