Abstract: Computer-aided treatment simulation is routinely applied in the field of orthognatic surgery. The digital fabrication of the intermediate wafer remains a difficult step because the occlusal surfaces must be produced at high resolution (\50 lm). We present a novel method that uses readily available software to plan and fabricate the surgical intermediate wafer.
