|Abstract: ||Nitrones are arguably one of the most efficient compounds with multi-functional capabilities, acting as both radical spin traps and 1,3-dipoles. In contrast to their potential synthetic versatility, the application of nitrones in synthetic polymer chemistry is still in its infancy and its true potential has yet to be fully explored. The current report thus serves as a highlight and provides an update on the current status of nitrones in macromolecular synthesis.|
